Coursework Submission During School Closing(s)
In the event a face-to-face class is cancelled or a campus is closed, online classes and/or assignments are due as normal.
Auburn Campus
Please call the CMCC Storm Line at 755-5476 for up-to-date information about class cancellations due to severe weather conditions.
Off-Campus Policies
Central Maine Community College serves Oxford, Franklin, and Lincoln counties with various off-campus locations. Each off-campus site is independent and has its own weather related closing policies. Off-campus locations are handled independently of the Auburn Campus due to a wide ranging geographic area. Policies for each location are below.
Oxford County
Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School
CMCC courses will be cancelled if "Oxford Hills/Buckfield Adult Ed" is closed. If "Oxford Hills/Buckfield Adult Ed' is closed for the day, this includes evening hours, then CMCC courses will not be held. For inclement weather that occurs during the day, or is expected to continue into the evening, the closing decision will be made at approximately 2pm.
Fryeburg Academy
If Fryeburg Academy is closed, CMCC courses will not be held.
Mount Valley High School
If RSU 10 (Mount Valley High School RSU location) is closed, CMCC courses will not be held.
Franklin County
Mt. Blue Learning Center
If RSU 9 (Mt. Blue High School / Learning Center RSU location) is closed, CMCC courses will not be held.
Lincoln County
Lincoln County Healthcare Education Center
CMCC courses will be cancelled if "Lincoln Academy High School" is closed.
Lincoln Academy High School
CMCC courses will be cancelled if "Lincoln Academy High School" is closed.
