Central Maine
Community College is committed to assisting students in the
financing of their education. Approximately two-thirds of
our students receive some form of financial assistance, in
the form of grants, scholarships, sponsorships, loans, and
employment opportunities. The Financial Aid Office exists to
advise and assist students with financial aid questions or
concerns. Students who need assistance in completing their
financial aid application materials are encouraged to
contact our office.
Financial aid eligibility is determined by a review of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). We encourage all students and their families to complete the FAFSA every year as early as January 1st. Students who wish to be considered for the State of Maine Grant must submit the FAFSA by May 1st. The FAFSA can be filed at www.fafsa.ed.gov. CMCC’s Title IV School Code is 005276.
